Project Management Office (PMO)
The PMO is responsible for implementing Integrated Project Controls and maintaining project management standards and documentation. The system allows projects to be efficiently executed whilst ensuring best practices are implemented which support the overall business objectives of the enterprise.
Project Management Plans (PMP)
The Project Management Plan is a comprehensive document covering numerous components in relation to a project’s execution. Stakeholder consultation and input ensures everyone is on the same page, particularly concerning assumptions, constraints, and expected outcomes.
The Project Plan manages all significant aspects of, or inputs to, the project. The Project Plan is supported by a broad range of management sub plans, but as a minimum should include resource, risk, and communications management.
Integrated Project Controls (IPC)
Effective and efficient Integrated Project Controls (IPC) are widely regarded as essential to successful project delivery. When fully implemented they provide project leadership with time critical information on project cost and schedule performance metrics as well as issue identification. This enables early identification of risks and allows for corrective action to be taken before it is too late.
A project’s likelihood of success considerably increases by taking a standardised and consolidated approach to project data gathering, management and analytical processes. Such an approach supports the development of achievable plans, predicts progress, accurately measures performance and constructively supports project management decision making.
In addition to learning from previous achievements and challenges, Integrated Project Controls (IPC) support improvements across a range of core capabilities including cost estimation models, scheduling and risk identification.
Project Cost Control
Projecx can assist our clients with financial management of their projects including establishment of project budgets, implementation of cost control systems and undertaking regular budget reviews. Additionally, we work with our clients to mitigate scope creep from subconsultants and subcontractors including progress claim review.
Principal Contractor / Superintendent Roles
Projecx offers flexibility in relation to project management and delivery options, including performing Principal Contractor or Superintendent roles.
Troubled Project Turnaround
It is not uncommon for projects to experience cost overruns or delays. In these situations, it is critical to take quick action and implement procedures to get the project back on track. Projecx works closely with clients to develop recovery plans, determine the action required and implement necessary changes.
